Peninsula Resort & Spa

All inclusive Hotel for everybody: family, couple and single. Very nice view, access to three beaches and 20 minutes walk to downtown Agia Pelagia. I liked the buffet meals! A lot of choice and specially very healthy meals. If you are a light sleeper don’t request a room in the cave ( weasels will scratch the wall) Excursions pick up in front of the hotel and for Santorini pick- up at the Blue Resort Hotel (10 minutes walk). Public Bus pick- up in front of the hotel to go Downtown Heraklion and have a taste of the local restaurants with fresh meals from the farm. Bus 4:00$ one way ( you can pay with credit card with a transit employee in the bus or online). Don’t forget to pay your return : inside the central bus station downtown.

My best friend and I had the best holiday in peninsula. It is the perfect hotel for a peaceful getaway. The location was just right, the beaches either side of the resort were beautiful. Our favourite spot was tsimiento beach bar, where we were always greeted by Mariairini, Constantina and Lorena. They were so kind and went above and beyond for us, not to mention the delicious spritz’s and cappuccinos! We love you girls! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. efharisto!! Maddie and Lucy

My husband and I went to the Peninsula Resort and Spa from June 1 to June 11, 2025. It is a great hotel on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The view of the blue sea is stunning. The sun was always shining for 10 days in a row. The rooms are large, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel is always clean, and the fridge is filled with water bottles and juice. The pools are very clean, and there are a lot of chairs to lounge on. The buffet's food was extraordinary, with a huge amount of very high-quality and delicious food, always hot. They had several stations where pizza, pasta, eggs, waffles, etc., were made daily in front of the guests. They also had fresh fish, seafood, beef, chicken, and pork barbecued fresh daily. The French fries were always fresh and hot. They had all kinds of soft drinks and alcohol. The staff at the buffet and all the other pool bars were always smiling and ready to help. The reception staff was great and spoke many languages. The entertainment group is a hard-working team. Although the entertainment was mostly in French (we didn't have a problem with that as we speak French), they also spoke English for the guests who don't speak French. They had 3 areas where you could reach the beach. One is on the left and one is on the right of the resort (keep in mind that reaching those required lots of walking and stairs). But these beaches were not free if you booked an all-inclusive. They cost 25 euros a day if you need a parasol and lounge chairs. There is also an area on the cliffs that overlook the sea where you can sit the whole day for free, with plenty of lounge chairs. This was the best place for us to spend our days. There is a bar there to order drinks or food, but this bar wasn't included in the all-inclusive. I enjoyed spending the days there as the sea is deep and very clean. The only thing that was tiring for me during my stay was the many, many stairs that I had to take every day to go down to the sea. But, if you're young and healthy, you won't have any problem with this resort. The resort also offers several day trips and excursions that you can book. They also offer a shuttle to Heraklion several times a day for 4 euros to go and 4 euros to come back. I fully recommend this resort as we had an amazing vacation.
